Netbeans, whenever word Netbeans comes into mind we thought of an IDE for development of Java applications. But Netbeans is not just an IDE, its a RCP i.e. Rich Client Platform for developing applications quickly and easily. Netbeans platform provides application architecture so that you don’t need code everything again from scratch. Just use the proven and tested features of the framework provided by the Netbeans platform to develope the applications. We have created a group for people passionate about NetBeans IDE or NetBeans Platform and who are interested in learning about it.
We recently had our 1st NUG meet. This meet was held at Beans and Buddies on 23rd September 2010. It was startup meet for the group. Few group members Hrushikesh, Atul, Dhawal already wrote a blog post on it. So you can read more about it on their respective blogs.
One of the most important highlight of the meet was, the announcement made by Tushar Joshi Sir about the training sessions of Netbeans platform from Geertjan Wielenga, of Oracle Corporation. This will be two days session with participation certificate from Oracle.
