According to Wikipedia, Today is Google 10th Birthday. Google itself has no exact date for his birth day. Look at this Fun Fact : Google’s Birthday It says that Google started at September 1998, The date for celebrating a birth day depends on the people.

Google recently launched its own webrowser named Google Chrome, seems its a special thing from Google for all his lovers. Google itself celebrates his own birth day at any date in September month. It is observed that Google has no exact date to celebrate his birthday.

When Mozilla launched its Firefox 3 version, i was exited. but due to its some features i uninstalled Firefox 3, and stuck to Firefox 2. But now, after some days Firefox stopped developing its 2.x.x version and started encouraging to use Firefox 3, by forcing users to update to Firefox 3. So i planned to try Firefox 3 again, and now i am using it. Lets see what happens. Hope i will love it.

Though currently it looks better, now allmost all my plug-ins have Firefox 3 support and they are running fine. Looks are also cool. and i about the new location bar, i am using a plugin named OldBar to get the same Firefox 2 effect.

Google is launching its new Webrowser named “Google Chrome”. It seems interesting that Google is launching its own Web browser, named Google Chrome. Then what about the support to Mozilla Firefox ? recently Mozilla launched a new version i.e. Firefox 3.1. Many people are using Firefox due to its huge resources like plug-ins, etc. (Must read: Why i prefer Firefox over Internet Explorer) In Google Adsense, Google supports Firefox by giving revenue for each download of Firefox to Google publisher (like me ). But then why Google needs its own browser ?

Many of the Firefox users may have already seen that the Mozilla co-op now forcing all Firefox users to switch to new version i.e. 3.X.X.. But the people like me are still using Firefox 2.X.X because of flexibility of the older version, and plug-in support, Still there are many plug-Inns which does not support the newer firefox. so i will be still on Firefox 2.X.X.

I-Phone, Apple launched the I-Phone is JAN07 in US, and now after about 20 months it is coming in India.I was very exited about this event (as i am a gadget geek) , i was planning to buy the i-phone. BUT, when i saw the features of I-Phone, i changed my plan. And i can say that i am very much happy with my Nokia N72.
Actually I-phone looks great, but its features..,,, naah.
Take a look at few things that I-Phone lacks.

1.Hows the Camera.
> I-Phone has 2.0 MegaPixel Camera, but without Zoom !!.NO Video recording. No Flash. So again here my N72 is better.

2.Cost
> 30,000 INR + !!!
Outside India you can buy I-Phone for about 200$ (8000-10,000 INR) but in India it will cost you more than 30,000 INR.

3.NO Bluetooth File transfer
> In I-Phone, bluetooth is just for communication with headsets and some accessory, but you can not use it for File transfer between two handsets or between PC to Mobile.

4.Does not support S60 Software
> One of the best feature of Nokia Symbian handsets is support to huge number of applications, but as I-Phone is not based on Symbian series, it wont support such softwares. [Continue reading this article...]

After making Internet Explorer faster, its time to speed up your PC startup.Everyone like his/her PC to start quicker, but even after putting thousands of MB RAM PCs starts very slow. One of the best solution to start your PC quicker is to use Hibernation option. Many people keeps there PC in Standby mode, but the Standby mode eats up lots of power supply. Where as if your PC is in Hibernation mode, ZERO Power is needed. But PC starts much quicker.

Actually in Hibernation, Our OS (Windows) stores all the data of RAM into HDD, and when ever we start our PC (From Hibernation) it just restores all data into RAM, so no need of loading each program in memory, results in quicker start up.

Here are the steps to enable the Hibernation in Windows XP
1. Right click on Desktop , Select properties
2. Then go to Screensaver Tab
3. Click on power button (new window will pop up named “Power options property“)
4. Select Hibernate Tab
5. Check “Enable Hibernation” (If unchecked)
