Format Nokia

Format Your Nokia

Formatting a Mobile is one of the easiest task, much simpler that formatting a PC.
But remember , After formatting your Nokia Handset your all data in the handset such as Phonebook, SMS, calender entries will be erased, so better to make there backup before formatting your handsets.

So there are three ways to format the Nokia handsets. use any one of them

1

  • Switch Off your Nokia S60 Mobile handset.
  • Now Press and Hold, these three key at once.
    * Green dial key,
    * Star key (*)

Protect your E-Mail IDs from E-mail Spiders

08.12.08 | 2 responses

Have you ever heard about E-Mail spiders ?, Many of us don’t know about this (Like me :) ), Actually E-Mail spiders are the special robots (just like Google Bot, which crawls webpages) who searches webpages for E-mail IDs and collect them all and then these IDs can be used for spamming.
Actually such e-mail spiders collect all e-mail ID from pages which either have ” mailto: ” statements attached or they have various algorithms to collect them.
So you must protect your e-mail ID from getting caught by such E-Mail Spiders. Following are few tricks by which you can make them fool.
1.Use of Image instead of text.

Simply use images of your e-mail IDs instead of normal text, These spiders cant read the image.(Thank God). One of the best E-mail to image converter can be found here.

2.Use contact forms (Just like me)
You can use contact forms rather than giving the direct e-mail IDs, this is the best way to protect yourself and your e-mail ID from spamming. one of the simplest contact form for normal HTML sites can get from here
and for wordpress users you can use any contact form from WordPress plug-in directory

Make the internet world spam free, start it from your site(/side).

Its LG or Philips .. Confused.

08.07.08 | 4 responses

Few days ago, i upgraded my home PC due to improper working of my old CRT LG 500 Studioworks. And then as my curiosity i opened that CRT Monitor.
The time i opened that monitor i shocked to see the name “LG-Philips Display” on the internal sticker.
Look at the internal sticker.

LG-Philips sticker on LG500 StudioWorks monitor

LG-Philips sticker on LG500 StudioWorks monitor

I done some research on this topic and i came to know some interesting facts that i was not aware of.
Actually LG (Korea) – Philips (Dutch) formed a venture LG-Philips to manufacture LCD Panels in 1999 but after few years in MID 2004 LG Display becomes an independent reputed company.
But still the company LG-Philips Display (Now named as LG Display) develops few LCD panels worldover. Now LG-Philips is named as LG Display which is owned by both Philips and LG electronics.Currently LG owns 37.9% of the company and Philips owns 32.9% in LG-Philips

Upgraded my Home PC

08.06.08 | 5 responses

From many days i was planning for upgrading my home PC, My old CRT monitor was not working properly. Its CRT (Cathod ray tube) was displaced from the original place so it was giving me incorrect picture. Thats why i replaced it and brought a new 19′ LCD from DELL. I brought Dell SE 198WFP 19-inch Widescreen Flat Panel from a local vendor for Rupees 9,800/- (About 232 USD). Its very nice LCD TFT Screen with silver bezel.

Earlier my PC Configs. were average like 512MB RAM, 15′ CRT Monitor, 80GB HDD etc, but now i have 1.5Gb RAM, 19′ CLD TFT, etc
Have a look at my current configs.
AMD Athlon 3000+ 1.8Ghz (Overclock frequency 2.2Ghz for Gaming)
Hitachi 500GB SATA 2, 3GB/ps 7200RPM HDD (HDP 725050GLA360)
Seagate 80Gb SATA 2, 3Gb/ps 7200RPM HDD (ST3802110AS)
Hynix 1GB+512MB DDR400 RAM

Microsoft launched Windows Home Server [and I got Free Trial version DVD, Get yours now]

08.05.08 | 6 responses

Recently, I received Free Trial version DVD set from Microsoft. Microsoft launched a Server edition operating system for home use, Yes, a server operating system for Home. Seems different , but as always Microsoft works towards something different. Its Microsoft Windows Home server.
Actually this operating system is developed to share resources and connect the home PCs with each other. One server is created with huge resources like mega HDD, printer, etc. and the client connected to that server can access those resources easily.
Few facilities like easy backup, remote connections are very help full from this operating system. The backup facility helps us to take backup of all our home PC HDD content so that even if some problem occurs in one system, our data is protected. Similarly, using remote access facility you can access your files from home, office, and even from road side (of course Internet connection is needed for this).

If you want to try this operating system, your can order free DVD+CD evaluation set directly from Microsoft free of cost. I ordered this set on 29th july 08 and got them at 4th Aug 08 via FedEx Express [Continue reading this article...]

Call Twiceler to crawl your site.

07.31.08 | 9 responses

Recently, a new search engine named CUIL (Pronounced as Cool , (as per owners) but i think it should be ” CU E L ” ) Launched. One of the main reason why this search engine gained popularity is that , it is developed by some EX-Engineers of Google Inc. What ever, but now it is gaining popularity. Many newspapers, Bloggers(including me), TV News networks given free popularity to Cuil and i thing its worth. At least there is some one who is trying to compete The Google. (It Depends, Lets see in near future)
Cuil Engineers claimed that its 3 times as fast as Google and 10 Times as fast as MSN (But i am still waiting for my site to be crawled by them :( ). Ok, so if you want your site to be crawled by Twiceler (The CUIL BOT) then just drop an e-mail to them at crawlme@cuil.com.
I was wondering that just few days ago, when i searched CUIL in CUIL.com, Woola , There site i.e. cuil.com was not in the list (but now it is there in there Index). It was shocking for me.
So lets hope now Twicler will come here to crawl TheChetan.com as soon as possible.
