  Have you noticed the new URL of my blog ? Yes, Its new. Recently I decided to change the URL of the blog but its on same location and its the same blog. The old URL thechetan.com is now 301 redirected to the new address chetangole.com/blog/. All posts, pages, everything is moved. Rather than saying 'moved' its just renamed because the actual server location is still the same, I just changed the address i.e. URL. Continue Reading...

  Google Pagerank 5 for me : Google just updated pagerank Blogging, Internet | (57)

  I just did one change in my sidebar in ranking section, i changed the pagerank button. It was pagerank 4 button and now its pagerank 5 !!. Google updated Pagerank™ last night, i was just planning to sleep after giving my toughest paper of this sem (it was computer graphics). Paper was not so good but the pagerank update is super for me.   TheChetan.com shifted their servers to hostgator :) Blogging | (32)

  Recently i faced a problem of high CPU usages from my old servers, i.e. iWhic.com. TheChetan.com was down for about two days because they suspended my account because of 75% of CPU usages. Can you imagine 75% CPU usages by a Wordpress blog with not more than 1000Unique visitors per day ? On the same day i installed WP-Super cache plug in which works great and supported me at such low powered servers. Continue Reading...

When ever someone posts a comment in our blog - the new wordpress 2.7 automatically assigns a link as "http://POSTURL/comment-page-1/#comment-number" which creates multiple pages with same content - A major problem for SEO.
